Can anyone confirm, otherwise I'll look into European cover with The AA or the RAC?

Also those with extended warranties what's the BMW breakdown like and where and what do they cover on the continent/in connection with the Ring?

Dan, I have both ADAC cover and BMW Plus warranty, as a punishment for scaring you about your oil level, I will check out about the recovery from the Ring by ADAC.As far as I can make out in their T's & C's, which are in German, the Northloop isnt specifically excluded so should therefore be included.
Regarding Eurocover with RAC & AA, I would think that you will need to be a few clicks distance from the Ring to be in with a chance of being recovered, which isnt a fat lot of use if no 1 piston is in no 2 cylinder !!!

My BWM Plus warranty also covers me for roadside repair or recovery to nearest BMW stealer, again, no mention is made about exclusion from Ring recovery. Bugger ...Im covered twice !! Maybe i didnt need the ADAC cover after all :banghead:
Out shooting al day tomoz mate  , will revert when known.

Great article Rob. I've enjoyed reading it. I've stayed at the Ringpension in Adenau. Dutch people run it and they're very kind. The owner drives a Porsche GT3 and he has done more than 4k laps. Definitely worth considering.

I thought I'd enclose a little reminder (seeing as the BIG Ring trip is just around the corner) especially useful for the RFTs (Ring First Timers) just how easily & quickly things can turn for the worst  Please try not to replicate this ;) :hahaha:
