This was filmed a week past Monday when I was down at Millbrook; the GTS does at least sound good.

Ha..damning with faint praise indeed!

Not seen one in the flesh yet, but still think it's too much dosh! Interesting to see where they rest eventually in terms of value

still no worries 18-05-2011 01:23 PM

The CSL certainly got a few looks off the road testers as it looped the Alpine circuit before them!!

Love the GT3 (Orange)- Would be in my lottery winning garage next to the CSL & the 458:thumbs:

CSL every time:thumbs:

Too many fat blokes drive V8's;)

Contentious I know, but cars like this should be as raw as it gets. BMW were on the right lines with the CSL, but I think they have stepped back from that with the new car.

The GTS is probably the best driver's car made by BMW IMO.

If "the new car" you refer to is the GTS, then I'd love to hear how you think BMW made a step back, given that lots of CSL owners feel the need to mod their cars closer to the spec of the GTS (Suspension, Exhaust, Brakes, engine & possibly even seats).

I have been one of the CSLs biggest fans (waaaay get me!) but it is a long way from 'as raw as it gets'. The GTS is certainly lots closer.

Sorry, but the gts really is excellent.
Seen a few of them at the ring.

To stick my neck out even further....
I think a gt3 rs supreme...

But
Saw a heavily modified black e92.. Full cage, chin rear spoilers, bbs at tom schirmers.... Fecking lovely

If only could figure out how to put pics from the ipad onto this then.....
