Satnav update
 

I have updated the Nav in my 1M you need the FSC Code there is a lad i use its only 16 euros :thumbs:

How to update your satnav

First you need a PC
Down load the free Vuse http://www.vuze.com/

Then you will need to download 7ZIP http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

You will need a 32GB USB stick i got 1 from argos £12.99

You need to format the USB ( open youe computer then look for removable drive it will be 32gb

Right click it them format file system needs to be Fat32

USB Instructions
===================
Please use a 32GB or larger FAT32 formatted USB drive to install this update.

1. Use WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract Europe PREMIUM WEST 2017-1

2. You will be left 3 folders called USB&DVD-1, 2, 3 and Instructions.txt (this file)

3. Copy all of 3 folders "USB&DVD-1, 2, 3" to the root of your USB drive.

4. Move "config.nfm and pkgdb" in USB&DVD-1 to
the root of your USB drive.

5. Insert the USB stick into the USB port in the Glovebox (the center console will NOT work)

6. Follow the onscreen prompts, it will prompt for the FSC code (see below for information on getting an FSC code)

7. The update will begin to load

8. When it prompts for the second USB&DVD, take out the USB drive and delete "config.nfm and pkgdb" on the root of your USB drive then move "config.nfm and pkgdb" in USB&DVD-2 to
the root of your USB drive.

9. When it prompts for the second USB&DVD, take out the USB drive and delete "config.nfm and pkgdb" on the root of your USB drive then move "config.nfm and pkgdb" in USB&DVD-3 to
the root of your USB drive.

10. Wait for it to finish loading the data and you're done!




DL-DVD Instructions:

Please use 3 Dual-Layer DVDs to install this update.




1. Use WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract Europe PREMIUM WEST 2017-1


2. You will be left 3 folders called USB&DVD-1, 2, 3 and Instructions.txt (this file)

3. Burn the config.nfm and pkgdb in USB&DVD-1 folder to a DL-DVD disc (those two items should be the only thing on the disc)

4. Burn the config.nfm and pkgdb in USB&DVD-2 folder to a DL-DVD disc (those two items should be the only thing on the disc)

5. Burn the config.nfm and pkgdb in USB&DVD-3 folder to a DL-DVD disc (those two items should be the only thing on the disc)

6. First DVD into the DVD slot on the CIC and it should prompt for update.

7. Follow the onscreen prompts, it will prompt for the FSC code (see below for information on getting an FSC code)

8. The update will begin to load

9. When it prompts for the second DVD&USB, eject the DVD and insert the second DVD

10. When it prompts for the third DVD&USB, eject the DVD and insert the third DVD

11. Wait for it to finish loading the data and you're done!




Notes:
======
1. Also, some USB drives come with a hidden partition at the front of the drive. Make
sure to go into Disk Management (for Windows) or Disk Utility (OSX) and delete all partitions.
Then recreate a single partition formatted FAT32 (Windows) or FAT (OSX, it's FAT32 by default).



If you need it i can supply 3 dvds and the code so you can do the update
easy

3 dvds £20 posted to you and the FSC fee is euros 17 for 1 update or 26 euro and the FSC will last forever so when a new map is out you have the code
