New project - 1998 M Roadster
Some of you may have seen a number of my posts asking questions and looking for some parts. It's all for an M Roadster my family bought in 2001 from CoPart after the insurance had paid out due to a dashboard fire. Around 4000 miles on her,
I have a few photos of when we got the car home back in 2001 but can't put my finger on them at the moment. Here are some photos of more recent times, now we've bitten the bullet and started working on it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psd8p9s8pv.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psriqxin59.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...pspghr4zte.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psxrjp8lby.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psyowwdula.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psnthfebno.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ps29euctsm.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psxfzs3w4p.jpg I got it home to Northern Ireland and started the task of pulling it apart. Needless to say, a hammer and some decent sized crowbars were needed. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psv7pmalih.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ps0vjs6jj7.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...pshytchjau.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psjml8atp0.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psbchwqtya.jpg And this is how she sits now after cleaning and pulling out all damaged stuff other than the look http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...pslverd9mg.jpg Got all the parts I need gathered up now including blue/black dash, dials, centre consoles, carpets everything but forked out for a brand new look from BMW which come in on Monday. Final photo for now... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ps8yoghnpv.jpg |

It's a S50 (iirc) engine, the E36 M3 Evo engine. Got the last of my bits today, and Dad arrived so going to shape at installing the look tomorrow. Will take loads of photos and post as we go along.
