That looks amazing Shaun...I know it's not cheap to have that done, but worth every penny IMO!

m3power 02-09-2016 11:07 AM

Very clean !!!
Did you replace all the pieces or did you restore some of them?

Mine was away for the best part of the year having this done, it was great to get back in and drive it last week.
Forgot what it is like, the ear to ear grin said it all I think:smt055.
Also it really feels like a new car now, with the underside and the seats recovered and new steering wheel / handbrake etc fitted.

During the time the car was in for this(best part of a year) it probably has gone up by this value with the way the market is for them.
Also, probably the best time to do it now as 99% of the parts are still available from BMW, don't think it will the case in 5 or 10 years time!

A lot of new parts were fitted (3 or 4 pages worth), Redish refurbished / powdercoated a lot too for that lasting look.:smokin:

I hope it hasn't made you too precious about using it, as that is amazing - looks brand new :smt055

It will certainly get used as it was intended too, just the cleaning might take a bit longer once I get my 4 poster lift in my garage!

Wow - that is an impressive result. One day, I will do the same.

Ariel 14-09-2016 03:48 PM

That looks totally amazing. The attention to detail is outstanding and I can't imagine the man hours - let alone the expense that has gone into all the work completed. Totally worth it imho. I would only want to take it out on dry days now though, so top marks to you for being prepared to use it!

Mark CSL 14-09-2016 04:41 PM
