Fitting bilstein shocks

Having a bit of bother fitting my new bilstein front shocks. First up they have internal bump stops so I don't need to refit the original ones but the washer that fits over the bump stop is flat where as the top of the ram on the shock is spherical has anyone here fitted bilsteins before if so all fitting advice much appreciated.

I DIY installed my Bilsteins. Are you talking about Part 7 in the linked diagram?

If so then I'm 99% sure you just need to order standard M3 items from BMW. The CSL ones are subtly different as you have discovered.
