Essex M Power Frive 8th Sept

Anyone here who went on the drive? Picture shows a csl with Reg ending CSL

That’ll be me

Shame I missed it. Hope you had fun. My turn to look after mum.
The RR garage is something else especially if you get a chance to visit the work shops.
They had an open day where they fired up the Merlin engine.

Hopefully meet you there
If you just called in they used to let you wander around. Really interesting speaking to the mechanics, panel beaters, etc.
Probably don't allow that now due to HSE rules :bigcry:

This was probably the last ///M power drive this year :bigcry:

This was the second organised by the Essex contingent
Early start (7.30) for clear roads, runs last about three hours inc. breakfast.

I'll have to make sure I get the Essex updates. For some reason I seem to be registered with the East Anglia section.
If I come along on an Essex meet do I have to wear a shell suit :hahaha:

Trawler 13-09-2019 12:14 PM

Are you going to Sneterton on the 30th?

Gazza 13-09-2019 01:37 PM

The Essex/East Anglia notifications are much the same, John Harmen has been titled to expand the Essex section.

Snetterton is a no, went last year just to view on the promise of quite a few CSL’s attending, only saw two 😕

Thanks for info on regions.

I had planned to do Sneterton, but with too many family problems I could not guarantee I could make it.
If you had been going I could have met you at a petrol station just off the M11
