Well the 1M was needing a little Carbon just so i could feel at home

Radio and Aircon panel

Got new trims from bmw as they are cheap and that way i can put the car back to standard if or when i sell it.

Sanded the trims then the resin went on

After the resin goes tacky around 4 hours the carbon is put on and then the parts are put in a vacuum bag for another 6 hours.
Then they are taken out the vacuum bag.

Is it not slow enough without adding more weight

not that I don't approve of your handiwork, you've already helped me out once... but covering things in carbon to look like carbon and hence making them heavier kind of goes against the point of carbon does it not? I used to give the Noble guys hell when they had things dipped... I'd feel bad if I didn't at least mention it once.

Then again, it can't be that much extra weight just covering a bit of trim. Looks good
