Millennium Heros or Munich Legends

Looking to finally get rid of my lowish mileage CSL due to the arrival of a 997 Turbo earlier this year. The higher miles CSL will stay!

Never sold anything of this value before and don't fancy the hassle of a private sale. Decided to go SOR with either Millennium Heros or Munich Legends. Anyone had any experience with either?

Cheers

Matt

Millenium Hero's owned by Lucas, nice chap, know him and his ex biz partner, James for years.

I am now part of the original business, 4 Star Classics & 4 Star Supercars, James owns 4 Star, and I am running part of the biz for him.

We can SOR your CSL, James has sold CSL's previously as I have obviously, and we keep it in the forum.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance, drop me a PM if you prefer.

Munich Legends - from a BUYERs perspective

Hi Matt,
As a seller of a CSL, I guess you do have a fairly straight choice, between Millennium and Munich. Both are quite a different proposition in my opinion; Millennium have a good online presence with their various operating brands, whilst Munich are by far the enthusiasts 'go-to-place' for all things M-power.

Munich have clearly carved out a niche in being specialists in BMW and M-cars ONLY- with an extremely deep bench of knowledge in the workshop, bodyshop as well as on the sales floor. As a seller you may not care too much about that, but for someone in the market to BUY a low mile, high value CSL you might wish to consider your potential buyer base and what reassurance comes in knowing that experienced M-technicians have been over the car with a toothcomb.

I purchased a CSL from Munich Legends within the past year, and was impressed and reassured with the level of detail they went to in dealing with all my queries. Stewart who heads up the workshop, was v transparent, talking me through every nook and cranny of the car. I even took her back recently for a weeping front shock that was on back-order from Germany, and whilst they had her in, gave her a full detail for me, and sorted a couple of other snags with no issues whatsoever.

I have not dealt with Millennium, but would say that as a buyer, I was willing to pay-up for buying through Munich, given the reputation they've built as M-car specialists. I like that they will continue to service her for me going forward and are well respected as specialist M-car service centre and aside from that, they're an enthusiastic and passionate bunch, whether your buying or selling !

Anyway - Best of luck with your sale

Thanks for kind words guys.

Indeed enthusiasts here @MH, I've run my own CSL for 35k fantastic miles (mostly sideways :supz:). Ian our BMW senior tech (35 years) did his apprenticeship on the original E9 CSL, and has looked after mine (e46 CSL), our friends, forum members and stock cars with precision and passion, handy employing a full time BMW mechanic to look after your car! :smokin:

We have 3 in stock and have sold 10+ CSLs over the last 2 years. A very welcome machine here.

Don't want to break any rules to advertising business as I'm here as an enthusiast  So I'll stop there.

Drifting 16th October in Papenburg, spa 17th/18th if anyone fancies it.

Hi Mate

Nice to see you on here, and also been ages, hope all is well with you? ;)

We normally ask for a small donation, that means your a full member of the CSLR, this simply helps Mark and the team with the up keep of the site, if you are promoting your business, you can of course be a full sponsor and that gives you additional privileges associated with that.

No rules broken as you clearly did not start the thread
