Rear seat repair
Rear seat already had some damage, but was made worse by a kiddy seat. Any suggestions on who can repair it?

I am quite surprised about the extent of the damage on the paint.
It seems to me that it is not quite up to the task of people using the rear seats on a daily basis. Sorry, unfortunately i can't help out with the topic. |

I would also like to know this, I have these kinds of scratches on the rear seats and the seat backs and it's basically the only thing wrong with my car now.

I have a couple of marks on the back of the front seats where tyres have been sitting on the way to trackdays, so will look forward to an answer.

This thread keeps popping up from time to time and I'm yet to hear of anyone who's managed to get theirs fixed
Is the problem the paint match ? Mines not as bad as OP but would like it done |
This is something I'd be keen to hear about too, also how to prevent it from happening in the first place. Maybe some sort of plastic protection like laminex, although that might leave a shiny appearance...

No answers here yet. I asked BMW and replecements would cost about £3.5k. It is a shame the price doesn't reflect the quality. I might take them out and go to my local bodyshop, it is basically painted plastic after all. If I do I will report back.

I look forward to hearing MisterCorn. I think a CF cover was offered as a preventative measure a while back now although I am not sure that I want the extra weight :hahaha:.
