Damaged Carbon on Door Panel

Hello everyone,

As some of you might know, I am looking to buy a right door panel.

However, I was wondering if I can repair mine.

Here is a picture of the damaged panel on my car :smt089 :

Thank you for your advice.

It might do no harm to pm jay@ gleeming clean on the forum. No doubt he has renovated external c/f panels on csl's and the like. He may have some good gen.

Oh no mate, that's not good.

I've a couple of little scratches just where I've thrown the seatbelt off in a hurry getting on and it's belted off the CF panel but will come off with a wee polish... I hope.

I'll be watching this thread with interest, good luck mate.

I think I will try to have it laquered first as the price for a new part is insane.

Hope it will work...
