This ^.

However, I would say that the value increase is a double-edged sword. I originally bought mine to use as BMW intended, but with the massive increase in value over the last five+ years, it has made me extremely selective on the events it gets used for, where when I first got it (before the values rocketed), I was happy to take it anywhere and everywhere :( .

I almost wish the values WOULD come back down, so that I'm not so precious about the mileage added to it :gayfight:  ......

Regarding values. After doing first Trackday in csl can’t believe I enjoyed it as much as I did,, pranging it was always in my mind, Really not worrying about putting on mileage,, all running parts can be replaced , it’s just the main body Im concerned about, I’ve now got a plan definitely doing some more Trackdays,,,,Maybe a crazy idea,, in the short term pick up a cheap e46 m3 body or car and transplant the best bits, for a bit of fun track use only,, :smokin:

I bought a CSL because i wanted a car i could throw some wheels in the back of and drive to and from track days. The fact its gone up in value is a bonus. HOWEVER......I sold a bloody 22b to buy it, look at the value of those now

LOL, still have both and back using the CSL as my daily!
