What model is it mate? Linky to an identical one maybe...might be interested.

Can it run off its own batteries or does it NEED to be plugged in? Had one before and I wasn't keen on the wires running down the dash all the time but I know it can be hardwired however. Just not sure if I can be arsed with that just now!

Hi mate have a look at the link below as you can see with the laser its £150! It has the plug for the cig lighter but can get a small battery set for them which last for weeks of use before needing charge, very cheap to buy. or like you say only a few mins to wire in! :smokin:

I was tempted SMD but then my wife pointed out that I hardly needed it for my 5 mile round trip to work......the voice of reason.

Do they actually work anyway? For lasers I mean...

Yea work very well mate! :-D

I have one in my car and is great, saved me a few times!

Hmm, always been kinda sceptical cos for it to pick up a laser, it needs to hit your car / road angel sensor, by which point theyve already got yer speed... :banghead:

Ive a road pilot in mine (came with the car). Its good for telling me GPS speed and thats about it!

If you want to beat lazer you need a lazer jammer
but they are ilegal unless you have a target 400 garage door opener like i have

my road angel has never triggered with a laser, not convinced it has worked from day one, any ideas how to test it "apart from the obvious then i wouldn't need it "
