Newbie saying hello!
Hello Folks,
Newbie here - Just signed in. Happy New Year to you all! Long time CSL admirer from afar I love M cars - had various incl E46 Individuals - tin top and convertible (I know - girls car!), and love the CSL but have never really felt the time was right for a CSL somehow. Anyway - I tended to change cars quite frequently but have now started to 'mature'! in my early 40s and have a settled with a very nice daily commuter E39 M5 Individual, but am thinking of a CSL as my next potential weekend toy. Been nosing about at the classifieds a bit and seeing what the market is like. I'm not rushing but currently plan to maybe make a move mid summer. My only experience of a CSL is as a passenger via Munich Legends several years ago when they were fairly new - but I'm keen to remind myself if they are as good as I remember from that one sunny blast - so if anyone is localish to me (East Sussex) and is willing to take me out in their P&J one dry weekend morning I'd be really grateful! :notworthy: In return I can offer the same in my F355 Spider... Look forward to getting to know you all :-D |
Welcome to the register and happy hunting, there seems to be quite a few looking into CSL ownership at the moment:thumbs:

Welcome to the site i am sure there will be some one local to you that will take you for a Blast

Welcome to the mad house

Welcome along! There seems to be a queue forming on here for CSLs lately though
We obviously all think they're just about the best thing going unless the budget is well and truly blown, but interested to know what's sparking all the current interest in them. Is it all just coincidence, or the amount of attention the press seem to have given the CSL in the last year, or something else? Anyway, best of luck in the search. You won't regret it, even though I am biased  |
Welcome welcome!
Hope you enjoy your new purchase  |
thanks for the welcomes guys
I cant speak for the general upturn in interest, but from my own point of view its purely being in different personal circumstances that allows me to be in the market now. Previously I'd have had to have one as a daily driver. But was put off my the box in traffic, hence the manual M3 or the M5's. I've always had them 'on my radar' so to speak....:-D |

Hello and Welcome to CSL-Ville, and of course Happy New Year :partyman:
There are at least 5 other people looking that have posted recently on the Register, demand it would appear currently exceeds supply, which is no bad thing if you happen to own one. :supz: We should have a new category of contributor 'QUESTOR' for those seeking the Holy Grail :hahaha: Good Luck with your Quest, you won't regret it. |
:-D
I am happy to be classified a Questor! Though not so happy to be expected to get into bidding wars for cars when looking to buy! |

However the Questor's are having a positive effect on the cars currently for advertised for sale from an owners perspective that is, as the prices of good examples are gradually continuing to rise, as they approach their 10th Birthday. Imagine what they will be worth in another 10, E30 Evo money with that in mind, now is definitely the time to buy. As I said "Good luck with the Quest" and no salesroom fisticuffs :hahaha: |

I intend to employ the "Jesus - what's that over there?!" *digs through pockets for credit card* approach. :blalalala: |

Good luck with your search |
yeah I was only joking -
Thats the beauty of these forums, bringing likeminded people together in 'quests' of all sorts - whether its sourcing better brakes or buying a car or planning a route in France. Please dont forget - if anyone in the SE would be so kind as to show me over their P&J I'd be most grateful!! Cheers:-D |
