New Carbon Splitters
Have a brand new set of Carbon Splitters for the bumper, from CA Automotive and RRP is £165.
Not been fitted just require the holes drilling for the plugs to fit through, very good quality, not your typical ebay crap. Wanting £90 for them inc P&P. Pics up tomo due to camera being at work |
I will take them, depending on pics.

I am afraid those won't fit the factory CSL bumpers. They are for the plastic China made replica CSL bumpers:

Also they are a very reputable company in the UK for Interior/Exterior items. I am happy to accept returns if you are not happy with the flippers Please provide proof to your comments please |

Best way is to perhaps try them on a factory bumper and see if they fit?? These might be a completely different design to the ones I posted up which clearly don't fit (and I know quite a few people who have mistakenly purchased thinking it will) I do make one point though: Quote:
1. The return radius on the inside of the splitter is different to the OEM version. 2. The height of the splitter looked taller in the photos. 3. The weave angle is different 4. A step in the top of the splitter where it slots into the bumper differ to the OEM version. Hardly a faithful replica in my opinion. p.s. I am not here to argue or to call anyone a liar - just wanting you to make sure that these do in fact fit the factory bumper like CA claims. FYI - even the Vorsteiner splitters don't fit the OEM CSL bumpers and these are suppose to be a pretty faithful replica of the genuine item (I know, because I have one those bumpers sitting in my 'spares' room) |

When I bought my spare CSL bumper (real one) the guy gave me two new CA sitters.
I fitted them about two months ago and even though off the car they looked A1 and. Couldn't tell the difference very easily next to OEM, when fitted they did not sit corrrectly and now fall off every now and then as yo will be shepherded the done force exerted on them when travellinng. I would say try them on your car before selling them to see they fit before selling them on (to us:whistle:) 2011 http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/p...0_exposure.jpg 2010 http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/shimmy11.jpg |

I think you should try to fit them first and see, easy job and you'll soon know if they are good fit or not. |

I can understand the comments, just wanted justification around the product.
I'm not selling these to rip someone off cause that's not me, thats why I stated they can be returned for a full refund. So to clear things up I am going to keep them wrapped in cling film or something so I can put them on to see fitment just to make some people feel better before the purchase..... obviously if they are sh1te then I will be calling CA Automotive. Can someone explain to me how to remove existing flippers please? I presume its careful take the plugs out underneath and they just slide off or..... I will take some OEM Pics and Replica pics so you can see for your self. Regards Thomas |
take no notice of this lot. Everything is often said in jest!
I would also like to see them fit. And why have CA made reps in non original 2x2 twill if trying to make as close to OEM as poss!? Confuses me, I am yet to find a good front spliter rep. Quote:

Taking out the centre piece of the plug underneath is a bit difficult but as soon as this is out, you can pull the rest of the plug easy and then slide off the splitter. Splitter is pretty strong but the plug can be a pain, best to get the car up on a jack as much as possible:thumbs: |
