FOR SALE - BMW M Diff with 4:10 final drive.

SOLD

Part One of the great Bealo sale starts today and will continue into next week! All items will be sold her on CSLRegister first for one week before goingonto EBay or PH at a higher price.

First for sale is a 4:10 final drive M Diff. Basically it is a standard E46 M3 diff refurbished with new seals and a new shorter ratio 4:10 final drive.

Judge for yourself the benefits on road and track, but be sure there is a real difference when fitting this superb modification. This one was originally fitted in 2009 and has covered only 15k miles.

Here is a good link showing real time data.

nice modification...
thing with the 4.10 is that it's short for road use - perfect for track use...
anyhow, shortening the final drive is a hell nice vfm upgrade for an M3.
of course the price for this one is way good!!! if i didn't have the 3.91 on
my car i surly would consider on buying this one!!!;)

Hi

Looks like i might be looking for a diff refurb ( they tell me mine is shot, something about excessive movement).

I see that you had a refurbished one, do you mind me asking where you had it done ?

Thanks

How's the 3.91 on the road then, this might be a good compromise?

Who are "they", and how much M3 experience do they have ? For example, some movement, especially in the offside driveshaft, seems pretty normal on cars that are in the 50K+ miles range. Have you got an actual diff-related problem, or was this found in a regular service ?

L33ant 04-05-2011 09:01 PM

Sorry, should have mentioned they=murketts.
Tbh i never noticed the problem as its always clonked a bit.
They found it when it was in for an oil service.

I'm told you can get them rebuilt, just the trick of finding someone to do it.

Its going to my local indy for some new discs next week so i'll ask him to have a look too.
