Murketts 20/11

Hello

I post here very rarely, but having mined the collective brains trust to find a car - albeit from Pistonheads in the end - I thought it time I posted!

Two things to say for myself:
1 - Car was at Murketts for an oil service / general inspection over the last week. I picked it up earlier and was told that someone else had been there looking my car over - **53 CSL. Was it someone from here?

2 - The lads at Murketts have a big thumbs up from me. The car feels brilliant, and not only did they fix the long list of things I gave them, but they got BMW warranty to cover most of it, and kept me posted all the way.

So, no change to the general forum feeling, I'm very pleased to have taken it to Murketts (from W London), and thanks to all here for posting so much useful stuff!

Now got to find a decent place for the MOT and get the front discs changed, considering using pit start (www.pitstartgarage.com) and doing it myself, but slightly worried that my total ineptitude and brakes will not mix well....

Should have got Murketts to do the MOT!

Have you got AP or OEM brakes? It is pretty easy to do AP discs and not much harder for BMW ones.

Glad you decided to join us, and hope to see you at a meet somewhere.
