I love the look of my CSL, no number plate and black grills, I think it looks a right mean angry thing, someone on PGT mentioned that they thought it ruined the lines of it, not bothered or nowt but interested to see what the concensus of opinion is?

Black everyday of the week
Let me guess..... It wasn't Gastro was it??? :gayfight: |
personally i like the chrome extras with the stock alloys
BUT i like the black extras with the painted black alloys the only chrome on the car is the grills, side vents, wheels and pipes and (apart fromt he tailpipes) id rather see all one colour tbh BUT NOT PINK:gayfight: and dont worry about Angus, he had a pink SL65 |
As shimmy says, all black:thumbs:http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...o/blackcsl.jpg

Black on SG cars, Chrome on SB cars for contrast. IMHO

Donks grills look better for some reason do they retain the silver slits? Helps break up the front a bit
|
Has to be painted Black, not the Matt Black. Just IMHO

I think chrome on black, and black on grey.

I personally like chrome.
Mine had CF ones when I bought it, but I gave them as a present and put new chrome ones. |
I prefer chrome, even more so on black. I like the styling standard.
That black one looks mean. Rear wheels on front as well. Nice. |

BMW knows best Rob. :gayfight: |
The all black one is awesome, but don't underestimate the improvement of it's lowered suspension and spacers. All black on a standard car isn't so great...
Personally, i think your car with the black grilles looks a bit chavvy. The CSL is a limited edition car, i'm not saying you shouldn't fettle, but leave those sort of mods to drug dealers in their M3s. |

Also not sure if it will pass the noise regs...it's bloody loud...so may have to go to Llandow as they don't seem to mind. |
