SuperSprint "RACE" light weight back box

2 Attachment(s)
Just testing the water incase one of the members would like to upgrade their back box. Long story short... in the next week or so I'm planning to remove the above mentioned SuperSprint back box off my Cecil and reluctantly revert back to OEM heavyweight pee shooters :bigcry:

It was originally purchased by me (brand spanking new) few years ago and it still remains in "As New" condition without any corrosion or dents.
Most importantly it sounds great :supz:
SOLD :smokin: Few pix below of its current condition.

£1000 is very good value

MisterCorn 11-05-2016 09:32 PM

What do these sound like? My kid hates the sound of my car already, perhaps a louder exhaust is what is needed.

I was very stupid to sell my SS cats, centre pipes and back box for £900 :bigcry:

Matt,

I HATE seeing pics of your car. Even underneath is cleaner than my paint work. Top job.

Don't remind me mate :bigcry: I forgot just how quite it was all these years ago :banghead:
Mind you, on the up side I can hear the glorious induction noise once again :supz:

Chappers 25-05-2016 10:48 AM

So it blocks the induction noise? Or is louder than it?

Do you have any onboard videos from when you had the exhaust fitted, Matt?

pops 25-05-2016 12:12 PM

Have the LWR back box and non res centre fitted. Sounds good and doesn't drown the induction noise out.

If anything adding the noises together adds to the grin.

No it's doesn't block it as such but the SS Race lightweight is very vocal (most of the time) and the dominant noise... whereas the OEM back box is largely quite, until U give it the "beans" with the Sport button On :supz: Even then it's the induction that's the dominant noise :smokin:
Yes mate  video below of my Cecil with the SS lightweight back box buzzing a local tunnel :supz:
I hope to do another video with stock set up for comparison.
