To replace like for like the AP's are circa £3K plus £350 for decent pads

so I'd go for £48-£49K insured value.

nw99 28-02-2016 07:12 AM

With ML selling a 93k car for £35,000 I would have thought £40,000 ish would be about right .

nw99 28-02-2016 07:15 AM

Also a lot will depend on what happens to the CSL auction price today .
A lot of people watching that for future price guide .

Bounce 28-02-2016 01:23 PM

Just done £42k same miles ;)

pops 28-02-2016 02:13 PM

Mine is up for renewal in April and I was wondering the same.

Looking at the posts here, 76500 miles with the full APs and the SS stuff, I'm leaning towards £45K insured value.

Pooky 28-02-2016 04:57 PM

Have agreed value of £50k for 67k miles.

Gurbinder 29-02-2016 07:37 AM

I will need to do the same shortly, Could I get an idea??

03/53
Silver grey
16000 miles
1 owner.
FBMWSH.

Thanks

nw99 29-02-2016 07:42 AM

3 cars for sale with around 16,000 miles on them , so that's easy you are looking at £70,000 plus premium for 1 owner .

Gurbinder 08-03-2016 08:27 PM

Bought my policy today valued at £65k, until I send photos in for valuation.

Based it on £65k, once the photos and paperwork are in they will decide on a value. I agree not bad for a 13 year old car. £5k more then I paid new.

I 1st went for £80k agreed value but will wait to see what they say.

Yes I am on the Flux multi , M5 £300, 997 Turbo £430 , CSL £470

Matt21 09-03-2016 07:13 AM

Mine is similar £500 for each CSL and the 997 Turbo, £100 for the Land Rover

I thought the multi car would be one price for the lot

nw99 09-03-2016 10:45 AM

All cars bought at a different time , but Flux apply my no claims across all the cars . They don't do it as one like Admiral do.

sailorbaz 15-03-2016 04:37 PM

Yeh, for those of us in Northern Ireland, Classicline are not interested in insuring us lunatics.

Onwards...

pops 22-03-2016 12:38 PM

Insurance up next month.

Spoken to Classic Line, £398.15 which I don't think is too bad.

Guaranteed value of £45k with mileage at 76,600.

Brian

sub £400 is very competitive

I've just renewed with CL at a nudge under £490.

Agreed value of £50K with 68,ooo miles.

Yup, more than happy with that Ben,

Mileage limit of 5000 although I may up that a bit. Only did 3500 over the last 12 months...being away for 6 out of the 12 helps

nw99 24-03-2016 12:29 AM

Agreed value £50,000 with 38,000 miles cost me £459

Gurbinder 24-03-2016 08:29 AM

Mine was agreed value £65000, 3 drivers, 3000 miles for £627.17.

Cut from my thread 👍🏼

After a renewal quote of £418 including Euro breakdown and legal cover I rang around. I'm with Classicline. Last year value was set at £25k. This year I've put it at 35k value. This put Classicline up to £456.
Adrian flux came in at £383 with euro breakdown and 35k value. So I put the emailed quote to Classicline and they have matched the quote. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 They want another £20 for an agreed value which lasts for 2 years.

For a 36 year old I'm quite chuffed

Pip

I took out the policy in January. At the time I thought that was realistic and probably still do. Mine isn't a low mileage example. I've put it up from 25k in the previous 12 months. It's a tricky one to call.

With Classicline. You say your own opinion of agreed value. Then send 6 photos. There own valuer assesses it and sends out the agreed valuation certificate. This then lasts for 2 years or 2 insurance periods. Unless you revalue it for another £20. It wasn't hard to do at all 👍🏼

0836whimper 14-04-2016 11:07 AM

£370 with classicline including valuation cost (£20), AP's and car club organised Trackdays in UK and abroad (£53 if independent).

Just need to send in the pics as advised above, chap on phone suggested £40k something on 86000 miles.

They don't take into account NCD, so will send in my scanned renewal letter which mentions it so they can keep it on file.

They seem very good and knowledgeable.
