I have been away and hadn't seen this thread until tonight, but thanks lads, i had a great day, and winning Driver of the Day was the icing on the cake.

So its all down to the wet tyres then, and there was me thinking i was a superstar :hahaha: Seriously though the wets do make a big difference and when it dried-up around 2:30 i changed back to my road wheels and went back-out, but after seeing the Masser in the barrier at 3:30 i decided that i'd had a good day and to leave it at that.

Looking forward to seeing you all again, i'm booked for Oulton on Tues 2nd November and i have paid for a garage which you are welcome to share.

What wet tyres did you have Mark?

Mark S 01-11-2010 02:04 PM

Dunlop 235 x 18 all round, they seem awesome (but then again i have never tried any others).

I doing Oulton tomorrow, i think i'll be needing them again :hahaha:

Mark S 03-11-2010 12:20 PM

The tyres did good and a CSL won Driver of the Day again

It was a black CSL though . . . . . . is this proof that they are quicker than silver :hahaha:
