That looks like a great buy for somebody, especially with all of the original parts if they wanted to go down that route.

Seems a bit harsh, surely you would let it go for £38k?

Very good car and from a long standing member from the old days of BM3W.

Best colour as well.

If I didn't have two M cars, I would be tempted by this to return to csl ownership.

Best of luck Shimmy

Great well balanced car, set the bench mark for years!!!!

Priced well with all the parts.

Good luck Shimmy.

Great car, sad to see mate but GLWS!

phoenixcsl 25-07-2017 10:06 AM

Sad times, but I guess needs to be done if you have something else in mind (what is it you're getting next Shim?)

You not thought about putting the car back to standard and selling off all the pars separately? You would make so much more money back imo.

yes I agree, but would take all winter and I might change my mind.

Was hoping that one person out there might fancy the challenge and realise it is probably the cheapest and most enjoyable way of getting and keeping a CSL, or someone wants a track car that's does touring as well.

Fair comment mate, hopefully someone will want a nicely sorted CSL at a good price!

I've always returned my cars to standard as it gets more money back and also opens the market for the people that want just standard cars.

If you want to return it to standard, I'll give you a hand, as it's pretty easy to change brakes / suspension / seats back to standard :)

shimmy 26-07-2017 05:17 PM

Thanks, possible after August/September if she doesn't go as she is.

This is the PM I received, not sure I am going to reply!

"Email me if not please.

Michael@paparoa.com

Looking for a targa car"

Lol..

nzodea 20-10-2017 11:15 AM

Confused sorry.

Hi not sure what your issue with my question is?

I have an unmodified CSL which I love. I track an e36 M3 but it can't be made road legal.

Rather than modify an unmodified CSL yours interests me as a great fast road set up making it good base for targa events here down under.

Maybe look up targa tours and targa Tasmania and targa New Zealand.

You didn't ask a question. You just said ""Email me if not please. Michael@paparoa.com. Looking for a targa car"

And I had no idea what that meant, especially the "targa car" bit.

IF you would have said "i am looking to buy your CSL" and then asked a question, I might have understood.

IF you do have any questions or are really interested then I would be pleased to answer your questions.

No worries. Something not working with my PM , hence why I posted the question as a post and not via PM

As it is no longer interested. I have found a factory Z4M GT similar to Eduardo's one he sold in 2015. I can get that road registered here for motorsport use only

if you want to find out about targa tours in NZ and aussie this is a good place to start. simply closed open road stages for four days. in Targa, it's full on race with pace notes, in Targa Tour, it's go as fast as you want

octainejunkee 22-06-2018 11:27 PM

Ive put the feelers out to sell my 1M due to a drive in this car.
If mine sells ill be in touch..;)

Shimmy is this still for sale? Thread looks old and I’m sure it’s gone but thought I’d check. I’ve got an itch to get back into a CSL but would want one track ready...

Cheers.
