I'm pretty sure it wont take as long to see a 2 as the starting number as it took to get to 4 figures!!!!!

I had to do that many in 2 days a fortnight ago !!:supz:.... AND at less than 4000 rpm:banghead:

Bealo 21-06-2010 08:33 AM

Come on Dunc.... the car had to do it but you didn't lol Didn't you get your mate to drive it?

Cracking car in perfect condition. Best colour aswell

edylcreyob 10-08-2010 05:38 AM

I know its not startling news but the car was driven for over 50 consecutive kilometeres, certainly for the first time in its life, a fair bit of it nudging the max revs as recommended for the running in period.

Car sure feels sweet, just wants me to give it more, but I think I had better dump those 7 year old tyres before I get too clever!!

What do 4 new BBS CSL wheels sell for in UK/Europe, there is a set for sale here and I might be tempted as a spare set?

glendog74 10-08-2010 08:55 AM

A set of CSL wheels are around £1650 new at a BMW dealer here in the UK last time i checked.

I year birthday of ownership just passed and sorry to say haven't advanced the kilometers on the car too far it now stands at 1206km.

Maybe I'll do better this year. I was in the UK for a short while a few weeks ago stayed in Buskingham Palace Rd (Rubens Hotel) 6 weeks before the wedding and again 2 days before the wedding.

Weather was awesome much better than we are having down under and the London was certainly buzzing.

Had to buy a new battery wouldn't charge 8 years of sitting around not doing much did it in I suspect

Finally the rain and gloomy skies have cleared Down Under and took the CSL out for a short spin today.

When I returned to the garage I checked the speedo I am now afraid to drive it ever again or probabaly my garage might burn down tonight:hahaha:

^LOL funny^

Oft, there's a sight I haven't seen for a LONG time... in fact, come to think of it, I've never seen.

Is it just my imagination or aren't the lamps between 8k and 9k not meant to be red...as in, redline? I can't check mine at the moment being in Brazil and all, just an observation, that's all.

Whenever I get into the bmw dealership (Doncaster BMW in Melbourne), they always tell me that I shouldn't have sold my CSL to Marc... I am sure he is enjoying it now.... while I'm enjoying my new GSL 570-4 :)

M3_CSL 13-10-2011 10:02 PM

That is correct

Straightsix 18-10-2011 11:59 PM

I have just read this post.

I have never seen a brand new BMW E46 M3 CSL before so it is fantastic to see the photographs.

Really shows up all the difference between this and the ones that have been advertised in the past.

Why are you selling?
