Got RS29's fitted with the Alcon kit and no squeals at all.

Relieved as others had said they'd squeal, but not a peep.

Covered in many threads.
RS29s in standard brakes squeal like hell.
There is no remedy. I tried everything.

Thorney's Alcons + AP600 + newish RS29s and no squeal. There was a bit when kit first put on car - but none now.

Some disc clatter at low speed.

Does anyone know how many Alcon CSL Cup kits were made out of interest?

Mine squeak a little with town driving but otherwise don't. Might pull the pads a plaster with some more anti-squeal compound, I might have been a bit light fingered with the stuff in the first place.

I have run RS-29's in standard calipers, bmw performance calipers and AP's and they all squeal at low speeds, but they are a track / race pad so thats what you have to live with! Supposedly the carbone lorraine track pads don't squeal as much so i'll be trying those next!!

CL RC5+ definitely don't squeal but they certainly melt on track!

Don't bother with the RC6/6+ though as they definitely do squeal!

Well, its now been almost 500miles with RS29's and squeel is almost non existent, maybe only coming to full stop for less than a second BUT I have a new problem. It seems the rear pads are rattling/shaking inside the OEM calipers. Has anyone experienced this ? Is there a solution ? It is not rotational but mostly vibration oriented (going over bumps, pot holes) etc.
