You will regret it. Take it out for a proper drive to remind your self what you are missing.

Another great photo, where was it? You don't need any excuses, just keep her. Soon there will be an excuse to have a 15 year get together.

I don't think so mate... my pic was taken @ St. Gotthard pass in CH. I think Q. of S. was filmed along the shores of Lago Garda, in Northern Italy :smokin:

Billy's spot on Matt

40K all day

It would be a watershed price but I honestly think your car makes the grade.

PS Wait for a dry day and go out for a blast.....:smt055 The love will return.

Trawler 25-08-2015 10:23 PM

Matt. What if anything will you replace Cesil with?

I may contemplate offers over £40K :smokin: considering the exceptional condition DU VAY is in :smt055 especially after the recent refresh ;) along with 15 (A4) pages of Warranty work, impeccable full BMW service history, with our Gareth being DU VAYs main mechanic for the past 6 years  and matching engine/chassis numbers.
Dammit :banghead: I'm writing the sales Ad already :bigcry:

In my eyes there's nothing out there that comes close to Cecil :smt055 and even if there was there's no point in me getting another toy just to sit idle in the garage.
The only reason I'm seriously considering selling is because I don't get to use it as much as I use to and in my eyes it's such a waste of a great drivers car to be sitting idle, pretending to be a Garage Queen. :banghead: I'd rather someone else with more spare time gets to enjoy it, like I use to.

Matt

I have solution.
You can send it to me, I will use and abuse it like you used to and then it will be used properly by a fellow enthusiast.
When your desire for it returns, I send it back to you.
Simplesssss :blalalala:

Simplesssss :blalalala:

That's very kind of you Alex and almost sounds like a great solution  however the shipping costs are £45K ;)
This does include a Free Cecil and a personal delivery service to Zurich via all the Swill Alpine passes :blalalala: ;)
... and for the record I have never abused my Cecil :smt055 just used it appropriately as BMW 'M' division encouraged & intended :smokin:

THANX Ben... however the important question is: do I leave the Supersprin Race light weight goodness On or regretfully revert back to the OEM pee shooters for 100% OEM status (I do have another spare one with New clamps as Billy now has my Original OEM back box) FYI... I don't want to remove the SS noise solutions ;)

Also, if you or other proper CSLR members have a mate contemplation a CSL purchase please let them know of DU VAYs potential availability as there are beer tokens on offer for successful deals

No chance Ben ;) you'll only cage it and turn another immaculate Cecil into a Track Monster :hahaha:

As the going rate seems to be £2000 plus VAT that's oing to equate to a few pints. :hahaha:

Not my going rate but if it were that's about the size of it in the measurement of pint ;)

Matt if you've got the OEM rear trumpets then I would fit them and sell the SS separately.

DUVAY will be 100% OEM. Other than Nw99's museum piece and Figas's 1 owner from new, that's a rare commodity.

Already spreading the word, adhering to the strict guidelines with regard to the quality of potential owners ;).

Matt

I actually wouldn't.

A- it's too good an example.

B- Had I known I'd be 30K into my car over buying it, I wouldn't have started. That said it has been fun!!! :smokin:
