Titanium is the ultimate :smokin: but Supersprint Race light weight is a great alternative :supz:
Couple of pix of mine after a quick clean, some 5 years + on the car :supz:

Matt, the condition of your car is embarrassing me. :thumbs: I look forward to dropping mine off with with you over the winter. :hahaha:

The last time mine looked like this is when I gave it to a detailer before the Munich trip. :bigcry:

Car does look well Matt!! Can you come out to play yet? Not seen ya in an age since the refresh. :gayfight:

Clubber 20-08-2015 05:43 PM

Car looks magnificent Matt. Don't know if it is the slow or fast color :) but SG is definitely the way to go for CSL !

THANX mate :beer: and I agree (I have to) ;) with regards to SG being " The Colour" for the CSL :smokin: although I do sometimes wish BMW considered a unique "CSL only" colour finish, something like Frozen Grey or Satin White.
By no means am I trying to upset our SB amigos :smt055 but as far as the commercial visualisation values go the SG shows off it's CSLness (aka all the CF parts) far more clearly than the SB plus the SG colour showcases the handsome E46 M3 shape really well :smokin:
It's no surprise the Advertising guys chose the SG over the SB for all of the promo material like Ad Posters, Brochures, Press Cars, TV Ads, etc...

What gives you that idea?

:hahaha::hahaha:

Didn't realise you had done 91k, car looks so good. It will take me 6-7 years at my average mileage to reach that figure.

Can you remember which colour BMW chose to display in their museum. Faster colour by any chance.

Vividly :smokin: Oh the German irony ;) they pick the alleged Faster colour to stand perfectly still for eternity :whistle: while whole bunch of SG Cecils are flying around, chasing the sub 8 minute Ring laps :supz:

Just think how many upset SG owners there would be if they had used the faster colour for the ring time.

THANX mate :smt055 and Yeah... tell me about it :banghead:
I carefully took it out of its hiding den for MOT on Saturday which it passed without a single advisory :smokin: although the MOT man said I've slightly overdone it ;) :hahaha: (few pix below) ... then I looked at the mileage between MOTs and to my embarrassment I've noticed I've only done 900 miles since last one :bigcry: year before it was even less :smt053
I think it's time to face reality and consider the unthinkable mate :smt022
