I too have used ETA and found them very friendly and helpful although not since they have moved to Brands from their A2 location.

Flatout used them recently to do suspension install. I'm sure he'll pipe up soon.

Ok here we go

1) Over priced the jobs

2) Dented bonnet then tried to conceal the evidence by shortening the bolts that caused it. They seemed not to contest the matter when i rang them about it, implying they were expecting a call back - why not mention the issue on the day when i had the option of deducting it off the overpriced bill..

They've since offered to fix it, but don't really trust them just in case they undo something else :hahaha: especially after this post..

3) Loose bolt on the rear suspension, meaning the OS wheel was moving horizontally at speed - think of just your OS rear brake being applied without touching the brakes and DSC frantically trying to keep the car facing the same direction through a high speed bend.

Had picked the car up from them the night before and set off early the following day on a driving holiday/blast on the continent. Needless to say, had to abandon my trip the first day having travelled half way through france ..:banghead:

4) Finally, "they" told me that one of my rear coilover adjuster was seized up even though I'm pretty sure I'd checked them a few days before and they were all fine!!!

That's my side of the story..

Shim - hope they supplied and fitted your short ratio diff ok

Oh - they ring me 30 mins before close - sir your car is ready for collection. Me - "ok will take me 40 mins to get from home to station! BMS - Ok we can wait just a short while. Me - Ok, will try and get there ASAP, can i be picked up from the station? BMS - "No!", Me - "Ahhh, OK!". Would have cost them less than 0.5% of my bill...

Customer service - What's that Sir!!

My experience was very average - sorry to say, but I felt like I was doing them a favour by taking the car there.....on both occasions, I had to take the car to a stealer for warranty work afterwards (almost immediately, albeit for different reasons and not related to the work it went into them for) afterwhich (on one occasion) stealer found additional fault which (according to them) should have been picked up initially. Essentially, I didnt know what the hell to believe as said stealer went on to give me further bad experience. Am not inferring good/bad work at all at it could be purely coincidental, but left a bitter taste after 4 times of car going in to two different places (not cheap).

Therefore, off to Murketts on Saturday....
