I recently decided pretty much out of the blue to sell my CSL. To be honest it hadn't been used as intended and with a 3 month old baby I couldn't even justify taking him out in it as the one time I tried he just went mental in it. I sold it to stumpy on here for what I thought was a fair price. Dan at ML knew the car and basically said if the deal fell through he could guarantee getting me £2k more than I sold it for..... As it was I'd lost a fair bit on it simply down to me spending lots on it getting it 100%. I can live with that.

On the plus side I've had this for a week now and am sure I made the right decision.

The CSL was just too hardcore for me, there, I've admitted it

Cheers, perfect for my needs and I've always wanted one. I didn't pay full price and it doesn't need a penny spending on it :smokin:

How does it compare as a drivers car?

Always loved the shape of the E30

Slower!! but it does need a valve adjustment and throttle body sync....it has a kind of vtec feel kick in at 5k+ though which is fun and it starts to sound good up at those revs... you do need to rev the tits off it to get it going but then it is surprisingly quick. It's got the feel of an older car without doubt but so much less hardcore and tiring (for me) than the csl. It can certainly be thrown about without the slightest hint of it's going to kill you. I attempted to take our 4 month old baby out in the csl a few times and he went truly mental. Yesterday we pulled up the OE rear window blind and went for a 3.5 hour drive in the E30 and he slept the whole time. Sad, but that's what's important for me at the moment...

I do miss the racket the csl made though :smt055
