Hi,
From another Forum, some really good pics of the BMW E36 320 ST. The rear suspension is a work of art. Some of the works E46 M3 GTR Cars run an almost identical rear set up. http://board.s14power.com/showthread.php?t=6501&page=2 Regards, The Gorilla. |

Hi,
A Colleague down in Auckland NZ, Conrad Timms has just completed this remarkable project. He purchased the Bigazzi MS Shell in a well used condition, and then painstakingly rebuilt it back to its original glory using all Genuine MS parts wherever possible. The Engine was originally built by Frank Gardner Motorsport in OZ, in the lates 80's using all directly supplied MS parts and was used in the B&H DTM car as raced by Tony Longhurst. Engine makes 360 BHP and will rev to 9500 +. I was going to use this engine in my E30 M3 but used a CSL lump instead. Its good to see Conrad using it for what is was intended to be used for after investing in a major rebuild. The Car is on Par with the BMW Museum E30 M3 in not only its attention to detail but the fact that it still does with aplomb what is was originally built for. Excellent build and as you said it's good that he is racing it
By the way, I love the way BMW inline 6 engines perform... especially when they have 6 TBs :) |
Hi,
Just hope they go as well as they sound this coming weekend. Testing times suggest that Merc and Audi are in front. Not sure if I prefer the E46 GTR V8, or the E92 V8's now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KeoYN...eature=related Regards, The Gorilla. |
Hi,
Interesting insight to the 2012 DTM Cars this year, in that they are all running with the Carbon Saftey Pods etc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jzLu...eature=related Regards, The Gorilla. |
