Yep, it's a keeper - I've had it 9 years :). However it's a bit different to that spec when that photo was taken (it's constantly evolving - just ask Bealo about my obsession with it :oops:). I use it to batter these funny cars around the Ring ;):

Seriously, a CSL is one of the few cars I yearn for (don't tell Bealo ;)), but ended up with an E92 instead. Great engine, but it's a bus LOL. The Mrs wouldn't go for a CSL, as she read Evo's report on it where it summed up the car as "road legal race-car" and I was told "we already have one of those" LOL.
So if I want one, I will have to scrimp and save all my own pennies towards it. Will be a classic by then (and I can't sell the Escort to fund it, as it is too much part of me) LOL. |
