Did the ad last week, so thought i'd ping it up here also.

PM / Contact me if want more info, basically need a bigger car and racing again, so surplus to requirements, and once gone C63 AMG next in line to scratch :-D

Going to miss it, lovely things GT3's and seems an age ive wanted her, and now its going like a lustful lover !!! :smt112

Good luck with the sale Daz. Ive had mine 4 months now and only done 500 miles :bigcry: Praying for some dry/non salty road weather in February.

Cheers Dude, yes mines been parked up since mid december too, just up at my local guy today having all the levels checked, oil change new rad, as it picked up a stone on the last trip, and leaking slightly so thought i'd bang in a new jobby and general run over from head to toe, then probably a cheeky Jay detail so its all minty again after the winter / rain.

Done 5k in it, since mid last year so not too bad, Ring, Spa and some good twisty's... going to miss the noise like I did with the CSL

Just a quick query, am I right in thinking the 997 GT3 is a narrow body and the GT3RS is the wide body?

Same body, chassis etc RS just a tad lighter and comes with scaffolding std, you can spec that if you want clubsport on GT3 and slightly wider track on RS, TBH no real world difference, RS pure track weapon, std GT3 road / track weapon bit more useable as a daily driver.

He.s correct Its a different body Daz, RS based on Turbo/C4S widebody. GT3 on normal carrera.

But agreed in reality theres no difference. I just wanted the look at me paint and wing ;)

Ahh the Gen2 GT3/Rs might have the same body.

I definitely know our Gen1's have different shells. Ill keep me ear to the ground for any interest.

RS tyres are 20mm wider at the rear & dimension of the RS car at mirrors is about 50mm wider.

I Fooking hope so ... Need larger wagon now Missis back to work as she is all over the country so I'm on daddy pick up nursery duties ! Mind you saw some lovely mums there today :whistle:

Cheers Dude, or look at it as 2 x CSL's lol , but when your in one, driving and owning it is a special place, and the way they handle and feel / point to point is an event, more so than a CSL, which is still very special and hard to beat, but the GT3 / RS is that next step up, and had to scratch the itch at some point :wink:

Yeah X6 staying as the family truck, once GT3 goes can decide what / which way to go ... Golf / 1 series for Clare and poss something for me !

Dead right I want his gt3 but the boss has said the CSL must go if I want a GT3 (thats not happening) but still working on it!!! :hahaha:

CSL in time for the tour Daz! If you buy a SG you will have to change your user name :hahaha:

Lol ! There is only one colour for a CSL so IF ... i did decide to jump into another it would be SB ! But kinda been there done that, and the pull is not as strong as it used to be ... you never know !! :hahaha:

They are £22,000 over 3 yrs.

Eastern in scotland was saying he seen a 61 plate with low miles struggle to get bids of £50k, thats far more than £22k and only 18 months old:mad:

So they are not holding their silly price. Besides I had a dabble with one in my C63 AMG, it didnt look good, its didnt go as good as I thought, and my C63 made it sound like 3cyl corsa:thumbs:

C63 AMG, not driven one but admired from a far! Heard one tho!
I would have to get one over the m5, bmw to the bone but that 6.3 merc engine sounds the bollocks!
