For those of you who want to race this is a great buy. I should buy it myself but won't commit yet, if it is around in 6 months however.....
Chris bought this as an existing Ma5da Championship car, did a load of weight reduction on it and then got Matt at Tracktoys to sort it out, and at the same time got a brand new Chase race engine.
You will see these cars on sale for £1500 less but this one has all the gear you need and new race engine with now swap outs replaced with knackered stuff as is the risk of race cars.

Guys - I am selling my MX5 race car. Had great fun in it this is year, but know I just won't be using it this year as will be racing in Mick's 964 mostly.
So here it is the spec in case anyone is interested:
Recent Chase Race Engine (with about 1000kms of testing a racing on it - 2 races, 3 track days)
AK Automotive Exhaust
Additional Weight Removal (needs about 20-25kgs of ballast back in it to be legal with me in the car - I am 74kgs in race suit)
Full Fluids recently
Competion engine mounts
Race paddle clutch
braided hoses
standard viscous diff
fully poly bushed
gaz dampers
ebc pads
new front calipers and discs
manual extinguisher / electrical cutout
Fully rewired with ignition cut off and start button
Good Sparco Race seat
Passenger seat (for instruction)
Going on the websites at £6250 always happy to do a OPL deal though. To build this car would be £11 to £12K. Also happy to bring it up
country on my next visit too.
