There was a previous thread where some more history of this car was discussed, but that thread seems to have gone now...

Don't worry, it will only get worse after it has gone. :)

I don't know of any petrol heads that don't miss it badly afterwards. Jim misses his and he's never had one!

Thanks.

Sorry if I am not up to speed, but I do not visit every day so, am I missing something here, deleted threads, maybe just paranoia creeping in ??

Is this the car that was advertised for sale with a blown engine ???

I am looking for a SB CSL (no SB ones are slower than SG comments please). As they are rarer than RH sh*t, and after being educated by you lot (in my earlier thread) I now realise I am not going to find a one owner, never tracked, less than 20K miles, example, but would like to find one as close to those criteria as possible.

I believe Shimmy is the car history expert, maybe he can fill me in, or he or someone on here knows of a "sleeper" that could be available if the money was right ??

Sorry to OP, no offence intended, I know this may be off-topic, but some of this is relevent to the car advertised, and I am a noob.

TIA,

Michael.

Pm the owner, I am sure he will fill you in about the new engine reasons.
