Just realised I'm a bit out of date with the mileage! It should read 76k.

Price drop to £20,995.

That's a cheap Cecil Phil... too cheap maybe as there are a couple of 100K+ milers for sale @ the mo. for only a grand less :smt017

I thought so but it seems nothing is moving unless its cheap at the moment.

I could do with the cash but it's not that critical now so I figured I'd drop it to my bottom line and give it a week.

If nothing happens I'll just have to suck it up and book some trackdays :)

Cheers,

Phil

too cheap dude!

No argument here :(

Thought it'd be easier to sell with the sun out but I'm just getting the usual timewasters - from the PH advert rather than here I should add!

Couple of decent guys but both wanted to PX cars I wasn't interested in and weren't in a position to buy outright.

Cheers,

Phil

I think this is the sign of the times Phil :( More and more people are struggling to sell their own cars for decent money to move onto something new hence the Private sale PX offers :banghead:

I'm not averse to the idea but I'm picky and people can sometimes get a bit shirty when you point out that while their Black M3 Convertible looks lovely from the 9 exterior photos the single shot of the lime green leather interior (towards the dashboard with the minimum amount of seat in the shot) kind of rules it out :hahaha:

Cue "It's really rare/special order/lovely in the flesh/different to the usual boring black/you need to see it" etc.

It's all good fun - it would probably help if I even knew what I wanted but I'm probably just going to grab a cheap MX5 for the wife to run around in so I can pinch the family wagon until I can get back in something special :)

I actually found myself having rude thoughts about this as I've always fancied one but it kinda defeats the object as I'd need more money to buy it!

I must dig out my 'man maths' calculator to work out how it saves me money :)

Cheers!

I would absolutely like to buy her back but not in a financial position to do so :moan: Having spent the day at Brands in my mates new CSL on Wednesday I have massively got the urge to get back in to one and would 100% without shadow of a doubt have my old girl back :bigcry::bigcry:

When selling CSL you have to remember there will NOT be loads of genuine callers but dont panic. If it is priced right and works and looks decent on inspection it will sell when the right person comes along.

YOu just have to remeber that the 1 or 2 that are the right people you have to get them round and get it driven.

BEalos car only had 3 possibles. Two were fussy beyond beleif :hahaha: and the third bought a trailer even before they saw it.

I had 2 viewers out of 5 calls. 3 were offering "£15k, that's all I've got" or "part ex for a 'vert, bruv" - 2nd to view bought, eh Phil? ;)

I want her back :bigcry:

I would be on this like a shot if I could! But like Matt said I'm struggling to get a decent price for my car...and I'm not going to waste your time asking if you want to p/x

Hopefully it's still around when I have the cash?!

Thanks for all the advice, it was just a case of the right bloke who turned up tonight and left with it.

Great final drive to demonstrate it's capabilities and he was a nice chap though

We met in the middle and he's doing the MOT so all good from my perspective.

Is it Shim who keeps the 'register'? Shall I ping him the reg, chassis number and mileage when I sold so he's up to date.

Cheers,

Phil

Probably just as well it sold as I kept getting a bit carried away recently

What E39 or E60? Both great cars.

Glad the CSL has gone to a good home. :-D
