For Sale is my '53' M3 CSL in Sapphire Black owned since September 2009

Very reluctant sale, commuting mileage has increased greatly so time to find an oil burner for my commute.

2 previous owners - Sir Anthony Bamford the JCB Chairman owned from new up until 2008 at approx 32,500, then a private owner, a member of the Register owned for 1 year and I purchased at approx 33,200miles Sept '09 (approx from memory as service book and all paperwork @ Munich Legends)

Totally standard unmolested example - was de-restricted from the factory.

· First registered 2003
· Sapphire Black
· Registration FD53 OXZ
· 58,700 miles approx at time of writing
· Air Conditioning
· 19" OEM CSL wheels (Spotless with Michelin Super Sports 6.5mm all round)
· BMW business CD/Radio
· Xenons

FULL BMW SERVICE HISTORY

The car has a full service history, the all important running in service was carried out, has the original service book in the CSL alcantara wallet with fully stamped service book. Sytner in Nottingham, Coopers Cobham, Coopers Croydon & Elms in Cambridge.

Has recently had Rear brake discs and pads, RTAB's and the all important 4 wheel alignment. Is to have the Front discs & pads done on agreement of Sale. Also new front bumper complete with splitters replaced August 2011 (reversed off a kerb shattering the corner-very expensive mistake)

Full BMW warranty, paid monthly and transferable (£100 excess - wouldn't own an M without warranty)
Has had Oil Cooler, Diff, Rear springs, Alternator and Pulleys replaced in the last year

Taxed until May 2012 and MOT until December 2012.

Is currently at Munich Legends @ £25,995.00 viewing by appointment

Had a look at this before NY, ML said the grills were being restored and the drivers door being repainted, did this get sorted?

I could well be tempted, originally after a grey one but this did look great and interior spot on.

It looked very nice in the showroom and I'm sure once the small items of work and the mop sent over, it would look stunning, the seat fitted me like a glove.

Big win for me was the folding back seats so I could take my bikes to races and enjoy the hoon there and back

Hi, paintwork was supposed to be done already, have chased this up. New grilles are being ordered for the side vents & I have the original clean fronts.
Really missing Cecil already :bigcry:

New to CSLregister & beginning my quest for a good example. The black ones don't seem to be favoured by some even although they're more exclusive. Seems to be mainly because they don't show up the carbon fibre roof as well. Is the only reason aside from personal taste?

:-D I do think if the black was the solid type black as in the E3o M3 Sport Evo, that colour would be favoured.
