Last Ring trip of 2008 - CSL Register meet anyone?

Hi all,

I will be whizzing over to Germany for my last visit to the Ring of this year between the dates Friday 17th - Tuesday 21st of October. I'll be staying at 'The Ringhaus' again.

Track timings are good and it's pretty much the last decent weekend before the onset of crap weather and fading light! The timings are:

Saturday, 18.10.08 13:30 until 18:30
Sunday, 19.10.08 08:00 until 18:30
Monday, 20.10.08 12:00 until 17:00

Other CSL Register members there will hopefully include 'dave1' as well as our French friends 'david' and 'Highmast', so get your yourselves over! :beer:

Wish i could make it - the lads i normally go out with are going that weekend - we normally stay at the Motorsport Hotel.

I'll be out at the ring for Easter with my little group of "Ringers" - 5 nights, your more than welcome to join us though our hotel is possibly fully booked?

Then after that back to the ring with part of the MLR Spa trip which is either going to be the bank holiday in May or August - hoping it will be August as May is too close to Easter for me :D Just waiting for the F1 calender to be published then the MLR can finalise dates dates with Spa.

Love to have done that ... done two trips already this year and just got back a couple of weekends ago.

We should arrange a register CSL trip for next year though , out on a friday back sunday and see how many CSL's we can get over.... one for your Marky :-D

Definitely, it would be awesome! Get the Scottish CSLs down! :-D

Easter is always a giggle depending on weather , we will need to wait till they release the 2009 dates though , usually around January .. as for accommodation , we always stay at Sabine's parents place , Ring Taxi and Top Gear bird !...

Which is where the famous Pistenklause Restaurant is , in my opinion the best place out there...

Sabine's mum always looks after us .. and its right on the track also.

Reckon we should all give a yes im 100 vote and Possibly 50/50 vote that way we can get rough numbers ..

just got back from the ring had a great time with rob
1250 miles car did,nt miss a beat not even a drop of oil used happy days
cant wait to go back thoroughly recommended :thumbs:

Me too! I really want to do some more of those 'synchronised CSL laps' like we did on that Saturday morning! :beer:

I've seen many pics of csl's at the ring that weekend on different sites, will post a few when I've got some time

we had a great time especially me and rob giggling like children everytime we passed a gt3 porsche :hahaha:

same I had fun to follow a gold 997 GT2 and white GT3RS, until time it was time to overpass and these two wouldn"t make a move to let me pass, but never could get next to them in straight section, cars were to fast out of corners might need some extra hp's :whistle:

I'll be up for a trip next year, although Easter the ring is always really busy.
