many thanks for the kind words.

90% of the inexpensive carbon parts sold by other firms and particulary on ebay are made using what is commonly called "wet - lay" process, which is inferior, can easily de laminate and also has a habit of going dull after a while.

We only use dry - laid and vacuum bagged process, a much higher grade of work and materials, with none of the above issues.

Our full carbon items ( wings, custom made bonnets, plenums, engine coversetc) are all made with 100% pre preg carbon fibre, again vacuumed or autoclaved as appropriate, this is same process as used in F1 and aerospace ( although of course we are not saying our work is as high end as that on the space shuttle etc :-))

for more info on all this please see here http://www.ca-automotive.co.uk/items/CA_Carbon_Fibre_Info-1.pdf

That plenum is cracking, piece of art. Some money, but I suppose you're paying for quality.

Good work,

Agreed it is expensive...were it my car I think I would opt for the Gruppe M system, less money and potentially more power.

But hey...we do what the customers tell us to do :-)

thanks
