Tim Arnold!

http://www.timarnold.com/appraisals.html

Tim! Thanks very much for your help on Thursday, it was invaluable! I certainly wouldn't have been anywhere near as quick at Snetterton over the weekend if we hadn't done it! I'll definitely be booking some days with you next season when I'm moving up to the modified class!

Tim patiently put up with my 'L' plate approach to circuit driving and pretty soon had me up at a great pace...

That was tongue in cheek matey, if he made you faster then it was worth every penny :)

Tim has shall we say a reputation for talking utter bollocks, do a search on open pitlane, puregt or pistonheads :D

I'm sure he is a capable teacher but he doesn't cover himself in glory with his tales of what could've been, slagging off other instructors and claiming record breaking 100m sprint times. His son is also full of shite too, there is a brilliant thread in the biker bit of pistonheads with him in it.

Aslong as you gained from the experience then thats the main thing but the guy does have a bit of a bad rep like the boys are saying.

Daz, me and Radders used Sean Edwards this year at Oulton, found him to be excellent, and fook me can the man drive or what, he jumped in the E36 in the pouring rain on R888's (we mullered the wets the week before) and blitzed EVERYTHING, truly eye opening:thumbs:

He wouldnt come out on the piss with us the night before though, so we downgraded him for that:hahaha:

I was thinking about using Mike Wilds next year, but find that everytime I get all scientific and analyical about my driving I end up going slower :smt102

Its probably because I am slightly retarded.

Mike Wildes is a great guy and easy to get on with, on or off the track Very relaxed and natural.

I have used Malcolm Eddison (maxx) who is alovely guy again and can drvie smooth and quick. He loves the techinical side and can analyse the Dl1 data very very well and in great depth if that is what yo are into.

Sean is a fast driver but is young and maybe wont suit everybody, but sure cna pedal porsches and can drive in the wet like its dry

I must admit last year i found that after 3/4 instructor dessions or days and a season trackdays i was going slower and thinking about thing too much.

every now and then you need to settle down and go out for a days driving and not think but just drive, using the stuff you have learnt to do naturally rather than fill you mind with things to do or learn

Worked a treat for me at Spa!

With the CSL when trying to find the limit I just tend to leave M Track on and keep going faster and faster until I nearly crash, then slow down a bit.

Dont tell Nathan though
