Bird shit

A bird shat on my bonnet in the week so cleaned it off as soon as I got home but it left a mark. Tried all sorts including tcut and although it's not so bad now after 2 washes and waxing I can still see a slight fading where he took his dump......Any ideas on best product to sort it out.

Think it may need a machine polish Andy :(, mine got peppered after a Pigeon bombing run a few weeks back but i was having my bonnet repainted. The BMW paint does seem more susceptable to bird shit etchings than other cars ive owned

A mate of mine had this happen to him on his CB M3. Done just as you done and washed it off asap but it still left a mark.

Meguires (sp!) X Scratch remover or something its called, comes in a black tube. That should nail it, or it did on his Black M3.

Careful with that stuff ... it cuts through clearcoat like hot knife on butter if you aren't careful.
