Subaru Impreza detailed

Owner recently purchased this and wanted the paintwork looking its best and agreed to drop the car off to me for 2 days

Wheels/Tyres/Arches- wheels cleane with Bilberry wheel cleaner
- tyres/arches cleaned with Megs Superdegreaser
- tyres dressed with Zaino Z16
- arches dressed with Megs ASD
- wheels protected with Zaino CS

Wash- vehicle foamed with citrus degreaser
- washed Megs Shampoo Plus and an lambs wool wash mit
- tar removed from lower panels with Tardis
- clayed using Sonus green and megs LT as lube

When starting out to find a polishing combo it became clear it was going to be one long day as paint was sticky and every polish/pad combo i used just instantly gummed up and weilded itself to the paint. In the end I settled on using 106ff mixed with 3m ultrafina and a blue 3m pad which did a great job of removing defects on this soft paint. Not entirely happy with the finish i followed up with Ultrafina on a sonus finishing pad which really brought out the gold flake in the paint

I started with intenions of taking some before and after pics but when it dwelled on me i was going to have a hard day I put the camera away but did manage one set

Vehicle was given a IPA wipedown and protected with Swissvax Divine
