I noticed by holding down the minus paddle for a second on a hill it will hold you whilst pulling away. It doesn't seem to be working the last few times Ive gone to do it. Would it be because im not on a hill steep enough or am I doing something wrong. Any clues?

Never used it. Just use the handbrake like you would in a 'regular' manual, releasing it as you feel the clutch bite.

What he^ said

To me it would be like holding a "normal" manual car on the clutch bite whilst on a hill using the hill assist, therefore cannot be good for the clutch IMO

it will work on the flat, I think the foot brake needs to be pushed down for it to kick in ?

I dont think it works on the flat tbh... Probably the hill you tried wasnt enuff of an incline.

But the feature is crap tbh :hahaha:

All sorted, I went to London last night and suddenly remember to try it on a steep hill. It Worked fine. Must only work past a certain incline.

It's the hill assist mode .... it rides the clutch like a bitch ... I wouldn't use it - like many have said, handbrakes on a hill like a normal manual.
