2007 997.1 GT3 Clubsport

Official Porsche Centre (OPC) Warranty with Porsche Assist until 25/11/13
For sale is my immaculate GT3 Clubsport. Only for sale as I am moving from the country into London and the GT3 will be completely wasted there.

This car was purchased from the Official Porsche Centre (OPC) Solihull in November 2011. It has always had a Porsche extended warranty on and so it has been serviced exactly to schedule, and wants for nothing. I had the Rev Range check performed when I was at my OPC last month – 0 over revs in any of the rev ranges which is very rare. If you are not familiar with over revs, please read up on it – it is a minefield with these cars!!

As I say this really is immaculate, all of its owners including me have been fastidious with the upkeep of this car, and you’d struggle to tell it apart from one that’s done 10,000 miles. Even the steering wheel and gear knob have been changed where the alcantara started to go a little shiny as they all do.

I work in London and can honestly say I've not seen another GT3 around town, but don't doubt there are many. Still think its wasted though... I know of a few people who have 599's and only use them to craw across town - not something I'm prepared to do!

That is what I was going to say. Lovely gardens and plenty of space changes to postage stamp. Keep the car and get a flat Tue-Thurs, commuting in/out on Monday and Friday.

Keep the Porsche. You know it makes sense.

Best of luck with the sale anyway. What is the trade offer 45?

That's awesome, one of my favourite cars, if not my favourite to be honest. Just lacking £52,000 unfortunately.

Just as a matter of interest, why the change from an immaculate & iconic GT3 to a C63 AMG (not that I'm suggesting there's anything wrong with that, but just interested)?

C63 has 4 doors and a big boot. Maybe a factor.

To be honest there's a few reasons - firstly to release some capital as you can pick a C63 up for a lot less than £50k.

Secondly, the GT3 does sound like an old beetle at low revs which means you end up driving like a bell end everywhere which will only end in tears sooner or later.

I want something that I can enjoy at any speed, which is also great for a hoon...

Friend of mine got one on a lease deal recently & gave me a shot - was well impressed. Different sound to the CSL, but equally addictive. It also has that stealth factor to those who know little about cars, unlike the GT3 (which to the truly uninitiated, makes them think the owner/driver is another rich w***er!).

Cheaper than when we last spoke? ;) still tempted and cash ready... Just not sure if I want to take the gamble on another high miler. I could drive a C63 hard all the way round Europe and a few days at the ring without question... Whether the 111k mile CSL would do that without throwing an SMG light or something is another question... Hmmmm!
