Just back from the long trip. 1,900 miles in all :( I hated seeing the clock go up.

A really good event, feeling I will need at least a week off the booze.

A shame I couldn't make the Alps as the pics look :smokin:

Roland is a pure gent  sorry about my out burst to the Munich Hotel Manager, it was a bit strong... but I have never been spoken to so abruptly :moan: that was my only low point, apart from getting up every morning feeling worse for wear.

The car never put a foot wrong :supz:

Thanks to Shimmy and all who helped making it such a good trip, those still out there, ENJOY the rest of it

Thanks to all the drinking partners I spoke bull shit to throughout the trip :smt055

Cheers

Echo the above :notworthy:
Superb effort and enjoyed every minute.

Just in the door 10mins with a very well used looking CSL sat in the drive.

Pulled twice by the cops, once in Holland and once in the UK. 3 points and a £60 fine for the trouble :bigcry: :hahaha:

Nightmare Paul, it all seems so slow after the autobahns ....

I know I've been through cameras at the other side so will need to take anything that comes.

It's amazing how quickly the miles go by when you are flying along at 160, I tried to get it off the clock but never had a good enough run. 170 was the best on the clock, so you can take a bit off that.

No big deal, asking the delivery-dude how we could help out he ignored me. You've been right.
Nice meeting you

Just got back, rain, rain rain all day !

Echo thanks to Shimmy and anyone else who made that trip happen.

From the 'ring to chasing a 1M into Munich to the BMW days (esp M Division) and an amazing visit to AC Schnitzer, none of that would have happened without you guys putting in the effort. Enjoyed every minute.

Thank you

PS - Two lads in a silver e46 refused to let us exit the Dartford tunnel without some rev blipping earlier, they got frantic !

I'll put a video together at some point. Looking forward to seeing the 'official' content too.

Thanks Shimmy for putting up with my co-pilot (Bart) and cabin crew (Leins aka Toadie) as the Irish invasion went nuts to say the least, we are still on the drink now  in Cologne

Thank you Shimmy for the incredible organization. The trip exceeded my wildest expectaions!:notworthy:

It was great meeting you all, you are a truly nice group of people:thumbs:

The trip from salzburg to Italy was epic (Pramollo pass) and my car is resting few days in Italy (unless my brother will take it for a spin...). i miss the vibration and the noise Now that i am back in London....

The good news is that i will fly back to Italy in 8 days to drive back to London via France! I really cant wait!

Ps: my poor old father developed a nasty backache after the trip....i wonder why...;)

Thought I'd post here instead of starting a new thread to say my thanks whilst others were too.

A BIG thanks to Shimmy & to Roland too for everything that was done during the making of the trip. I shall remember it forever!
Bloody good laugh from start to finish, some spectacular places you would not normally get the chance to visit every day or even find and some epic roads too (most of which were probably enjoyed a little too quickly). Great bunch, enjoyed getting to meet some new faces, a superb time had!!
Too many pics/ vids taken which will probably result in bringing the forum down if I post them all up so will refrain from posting.

Trip of a lifetime, that's all that needs to be said.

Feel truly privileged to have been part of such a phenomenal event.

Had a blast meeting new people, chatting bollocks about cars till 2am and being a passenger in the best road car BMW have ever built.

Thanks to all who organised & took part, I shall never forget it.

And raising that amount of money for charity.

We really do have a tight forum.
